Summer Programs

Activity Schedule:

Registration Process:

Step 1. Contact us to determine availability, either by phone (206.783.5775) or email (Kara Spoelstra).

Step 2. Fill out our Registration Packet.  Forms must be completed to reserve a spot in school year and summer programs:

  • Summer and/or School Year Contract (Required)
  • Sunscreen Authorization Forms (Required: Sign one of the three forms depending on your preference)
  • Four-page Registration Form (Required)
  • Seattle Public Schools Consent Form (Optional)
  • Immunization Form (Required)
  • Authorization for Direct Withdrawal (Optional)

Step 3. Once your enrollment is confirmed, sign up for a Boys & Girls Club membership.

Additional Medical Paperwork:

If your child has behavioral or emotional needs, known allergies, asthma or will need to be given medication, the following forms are required. Please bring these in along with EpiPens, inhalers, or other medication your child requires. Be sure and review our Family Handbook for complete information on our Medication Policy.

Medication Authorization Form

This form is for any medication, aside from sun screen or hand sanitizer, you require us to give your child. This includes medication we keep on hand such as inhalers or EpiPens or daily medication. For occasional day-time medication delivery, bring this form with the medication.

Food/Allergies

For known allergies or intolerance to foods, etc. you will need your child's doctor to assist in completing the report.

Individual Plan of Care

Please fill out this form for children with specialized behavioral or medical needs. Each individual plan is a collaboration between the parent/guardian and our child care staff to best serve your child.​

Asthma Plan

This form lists three levels of severity for us to watch for if your child has asthma and the course of action we need to take.

Grades 6-8

The Ballard Boys & Girls Club offers an exciting summer program for middle school youth looking to meet new people, take fun trips and be active. This summer will be packed with games, water slides, hikes, beach trips and more! Our Challenger and Explorer camps offer our 6th-8th grade youth the opportunity to participate in age-appropriate activities in a fun, safe and supervised atmosphere.

Tuition:​​

Weekly Rate - $230/week  

  • ​Week of June 27 - 30: $185
  • Week of July 5 - 7: $150
  • Wild Waves Week: $250
Daily Drop-In Rate - $60/day

Tuition is due at the beginning of each week.

​​Summer Brain Gain

Boys & Girls Clubs of King County is committed to the academic success of each of our members. This summer all of our camps will be participating in Boys & Girls Clubs of America’s Summer Brain Gain (SBG) program. SBG is a learning loss prevention program comprised of 20 minutes of reading, 20 minutes of journaling and 20 minutes of math games daily (20/20/20).
 
In addition to the daily 20/20/20, SBG will be focusing each camp week on a different aspect of social emotional learning. Topics will include: Self Awareness, Social Awareness, Relationship Skills, Empathy, Decision Making, Personal Responsibility, Kindness and Resilience.​
