What kinds of things are there to do at the Club?

When you come to the Kirkland Club, you can find all kinds of fun things to do. We've got computer labs, art rooms and sports activities. We also have a games room with pool tables, carpet ball, foosball, air hockey and the like. The Club can also help you get your homework done and can give you a little tutoring on tricky subjects. You'll also get a snack when you come in after school.

How do I become a member?

Once your parent or guardian registers you online to become a member of Kirkland Boys & Girls Club, you will have a scan card that will stay at the Club to be used every time you visit. The cost of a yearly membership is $50.

How much does it cost to be a member?

$50 per year.

How will I get home at the end of the day?

Usually kids at the Club either walk home if they live close enough or their mom or dad will pick them up at the end of the day.

How do I get to the Club after school?

We have vans that come to the school to pick you up. School van shuttles visit elementaries AG Bell, Mark Twain, Peter Kirk, Lakeview, Rose Hill, John Muir and Kamiakin Middle School. If you would like to be on this list, your parent/guardian should register you for the van shuttle by visiting Programs. Some kids also walk to the Club after school if it's really close and your parents are okay with it.

A membership to Kirkland Boys & Girls Club means you can come anytime to the Club's drop-in program. You are welcome anytime our doors are open—after school, during school breaks and over the summer. The drop-in program is the heart of every Boys & Girls Club.
