Spring (March-June)


Program: The Redmond/Sammamish spring basketball league is a great way for students new and experienced in basketball to improve and learn more about the sport! Interested coaches please contact Ryan Goodman.

Program: Volleyball is back! Our girls volleyball league is designed for players of all skill levels. Participants will learn the rules, skills, and techniques of the game. Interested coaches please contact Ryan Goodman.

Track & Field

Program: Run, throw, and jump for fun...Race to the finish line! Athletes will learn the basics of track and field events, such as the long jump, ball and 100m, 200m, 400m dashes, as well as relays. Interested coaches please contact Ryan Goodman.
Ages: 6-12
Practices: Tuesday and Thursday nights from April 18-June 9.  Practices will be from 6:00-7:30 PM.
Locations: Practice for the Redmond/Sammamish team will be at Evergreen Middle School in Redmond.  Practices for the Valley (Carnation/Duvall/Stillwater) team will be at Tolt Middle School in Carnation.
Meets: There will be four meets during the season in Sammamish, Carnation, Kirkland and Mercer Island.  Meets are considered optional, but are a great way to compete against other track stars in the area.
Cost: $90+current membership
Registration: ends April 12

Miracle League Baseball 

Program: Miracle League Baseball is specifically designed for children with disabilities.  We play by a special set of rules- Nobody keeps score, everyone gets on base, and everyone wins! "Buddies" assist the players in hitting, fielding, and running the bases! For questions, please contact Ryan Goodman.
Ages: all
Games: Saturdays, April 22-June 3 (no May 27).  Games are from 11:00AM-12:00PM at Perrigo Park in Redmond.  Game on May 20 will be at 2:00PM.  There will be a team party after the last game on June 3.
Cost: There is no cost for this program, only the required Boys & Girls Club membership

Summer (June-August)

2017 Summer Sport Camps

Program: For camp information and registration, click here
Dates: Camps are Monday-Friday, starting the week of June 26-30 and ending the week of August 21-25
Time: Camps run from 9:00am-3:00pm.  We offer a before camp program from 7:00-9:00am and after camp program from 3:00-6:00pm each day for no additional charge.
Age: Children entering grades 1-6
Location: Carson Elementary School (1035 244th Ave N.E., Sammamish, WA 98074)
*Basketball and baseball camps will take place at neighboring Inglewood Middle School
Cost: $250/per camper/per week (includes before care program from 7:00-9:00am and after care from 3:00-6:00pm)
Registration Deadline: the Thursday before the first day of each camp

General Athletic Policies

When can I expect to hear from a coach with league information?

Our coaches meetings generally take place a week before the program start date listed on our registration page. Coaches will then contact each team member with the practice schedule and important league information. If you do not hear from a coach by the program start date, please contact Ryan for your team assignment.  

Interested in coaching your child's team?

We are always looking for community and parent volunteers to coach in our many athletic leagues. A positive attitude, limited experience, and a commitment to your team is all that's needed! We have a variety of drills, games, and player development methods  for new and experienced coaches. Just send an email to Ryan and we'll get back to you with the league's details . Thank you in advance!

How are teams formed?

New teams are formed each season by participant's Buddy Requests (see below), school location, and finally the registration date. We strive to keep your young athlete playing with familiar faces and teammates in your community. Not all requests can be met, but there's no better place to make new friends than on the court or field!

Mutual Buddy Request System

Most athletic teams are formed via the Mutual Buddy Request system. Each child is allowed one buddy request per sport. In order for a buddy request to be granted, the buddy requested must also enter your child's name in return. Otherwise the buddy request is not guaranteed. If more than one buddy request is entered, only the first listed name will be taken into consideration. Please note that with every sport there is a cutoff date after which time no buddy requests can be taken into consideration. So we highly advise that all members register early if you plan on requesting a buddy.

Coach and Team Requests

Per Boys & Girls Club's policy to make teams as fair and even as possible, creating a positive experience for every member, we do not allow coach or team requests. If you were hoping to stick with the same team or coach, we are thrilled you had such a great experience the previous season. But we ask for your understanding as we switch it up every year!

Refund Policy

Processing Fee: A $15 processing fee is required for all refunds.  If the program is cancelled by the Boys & Girls Club, the processing fee will be waived.
Full Refund: A full refund (minus $15 processing fee) will be given if the cancellation occurs before the start date of the program.
50% Refund: A 50% refund (minus $15 processing fee) will be given if the cancellation occurs within two weeks of the program start date.
No Refund: If the cancellation occurs more than two weeks after the start date, a refund will not be given.


Scholarships are available for families interested participating in Redmond/Sammamish Boys & Girls Clubs programs. For approval, please return the application to Ryan or by mail to the teen center at 825 - 228th Ave NE, Sammamish WA 98074. Please click here for the application.
