FAQ

How does a Boys & Girls Club membership work?

A membership at the Southwest Boys & Girls Club means your child can come anytime to the Club's drop-in program. Kids are welcome whenever our doors are open—after school, during school breaks and over the summer. The drop-in program is the heart of every Boys & Girls Club.

How will my child get to the Club after school?

Unfortunately, we do not have the capacity to pick up kids from school. Most of our kids are able to walk from our surrounding schools. We do offer a "walking pick-up" from White Center Heights Elementary, where two Southwest Boys & Girls Club staff escort our younger members from the school to the Club.

How much does a membership cost?

Just $36 a year.

How much do summer camps or spring break camps cost?

Our Clubs offer a wide range of summer and school break camps. Costs vary, so contact the Southwest Club closer to those dates.

What are your Club hours?

The Club is open Monday-Friday from 2 to 7 p.m. We stay open for teen Late Night on Fridays until midnight.

What if I can't afford a membership or a camp fee?

If you're worried about being able to afford our services, please call and ask about scholarship opportunities. We want to make sure that our doors are open to everyone. We will work towards ensuring your child is in our program.
