Power Hour Program (242 members)
We require all youth grades K-6th to go directly to their assigned Power Hour rooms upon arrival from school to do their nightly homework assignments. If they don’t have any homework they are required to read for 30 min. and we have a wide selection of books. We track homework completion and reading completion for every member. Youth can earn Power Hour dollars for completing different stages within Power Hour to use at quarterly Auctions to purchase toys, books, games, etc.

Club Read Program (60 members)
In partnering with White Center Heights Elementary, we have taken on the challenge of ensuring all of our 2nd & 3rd graders are reading at their appropriate reading level. Teens are hired as reading coaches and are paired with 2nd and 3rd graders who have been identified at the school as needing assistance in learning how to read. It’s an 8 week program that runs three times per year.
