The Ballard Boys & Girls Club offers an exciting summer program for youth grades K-8 looking to meet new people, take fun trips, and be active in a safe, supportive environment. Four days each week we take our groups on field trips throughout the Seattle area, including water parks, hikes, beach trips and more! Each group also has one Club Day each week, where kids stay at the Club to enjoy activities in the Gym, Fitness Room, Games Room, Kitchen, and Computer Lab!

Hours of Operation: 7 AM – 6 PM, Monday through Friday. Kids can be dropped off between 7 AM and 9:30 AM, and picked up after field trips return at 3:30 PM.

Summer Schedule 2020

Our elementary summer camps are separated by the following age groups: K-1st, 2nd-3rd, and 4th-5th. We have two classrooms for 2nd-3rd grade (Frogs and Geckos), and two camps for 4th-5th grade (Lions and Tigers) to accommodate more campers. Each age group attends the same field trips each week.

Please remember to bring a lunch, water, swimsuit and towel, book, and good walking shoes every day. A change of clothes is recommended.

We offer two middle school summer camps, the Challengers and Explorers.

The Challengers group has a capacity of 40 members; the Explorers group has a capacity of 30 members. Both groups attend similar field trips, but on different days of the week. Challengers have their Club Day on Monday and Explorers have their Club Day on Friday.

To promote personal responsibility and trust building, we give our teens additional privileges as part of our summer program. Teens are allowed to bring up to $20 to spend on field trips, walk around in groups of 3-6 on certain field trips, and use approved electronic devices during our free time period each day.

Please remember to bring a lunch, water, swimsuit and towel, book, and good walking shoes every day. A change of clothes is recommended.

We also offer athletic sports camps for grades K-6. To learn more, please visit our athletics page.
