Junior Youth of the Year is an opportunity to recognize and celebrate outstanding Club members in elementary and middle school. This year, these nineteen impressive young people were nominated by their Club mentors for showing up as positive leaders and role models for others kids.
On June 1, the candidates submitted applications, delivered speeches, and answered interview questions for our 11 thoughtful judges. Three winners received plaques and new scooters, but at the recognition event on June 6 where mentors explained why they nominated their youths and some kids delivered their speeches to the crowd of 100+ community members, it became abundantly clear that all of these kids are rockstars who deserve our support, appreciation, and admiration.
Congratulations to all the 2019 Jr. Youth of the Year candidates!
