T-Mobile Invests in Club Scholarships

Because of a generous and unexpected gift to our Scholarship Fund from Goldman Sachs made on behalf of T-Mobile, our Clubs are able to serve more youth who need a safe place to go.

Keeping Clubs affordable to all is critical to ensuring we can address educational equity and racial justice. Our Club Scholarship Fund fills the gap not covered by state and city childcare subsidies.

When approached by Goldman Sachs to nominate a non-profit for a gift, T-Mobile chose Boys & Girls Clubs of King County. According to Brigitta Witt, Vice President, Corporate Responsibility & Sustainability, “T-Mobile understands how critical connectivity is for students today. And, because of increased reliance on full- or part-time distance learning due to COVID-19, connectivity has never been more important. Boys & Girls Clubs connect kids with technology, a dedicated place to work, and the other resources they need to succeed. We are grateful we can support these meaningful programs.”

T-Mobile is a valued partner, whose gift will help provide safety, nourishment, and opportunity to more youth.
