Jayme Hommer | Chief Development Officer

As the mother of a Wallingford Club kid, Jayme knows firsthand the impact our Clubs make. During Summer Camp, her son spent time each day focusing on academic skills. When he headed back to school, he was well prepared and ready to learn thanks to Summer Brain Gain.

Jayme has a long history of establishing and expanding fundraising programs, and she brings 15 years of development experience to our team. She’s worked for a wide variety of organizations, ranging from economic development, education reform, and youth development. Jayme has spent her career creating opportunities for individuals around the world, and is grateful for the opportunity bring her skills and passion to the Boys & Girls Clubs movement.

Favorite Boys & Girls Club Program: I love our healthy lifestyles programs. We help youth create healthy habits that serve them for life.

Joined the Movement: April 2017

Personal Goal this Year: My goal is to spend more time outside exploring the beautiful Pacific Northwest.

Coolest thing I’ve witnessed since starting: Our 2018 Youth of the Year, Khairi, being surprised with a $100,000 scholarship from Beyonce and Jay Z. Khairi has given so much to Boys & Girls Clubs of King County as a featured speaker at our fundraising events. It was awe-inspiring to watch his great future solidify in the blink of an eye thanks to the Carter’s generosity.
