7:00 am – 8:50 am and 3:20 pm – 6:30 pm

(Wednesdays 1:50 pm – 6:30 pm)

Non – school days and school breaks

7:00 am – 6:00 pm

After School Program

Time: 3:20 pm – 6:30 pm (Wednesdays 1:50 pm – 6:30 pm)

Grades: K-5th

Cost: $400/month with your $50 annual membership fee

 

No part time care is available at this time.

 

Sample Daily Schedule

3:20 – 3:30 Check In and Attendance

3:30 – 4:15 Outside Recess

4:15 – 4:25 Handwashing and Bathroom Break

4:25 – 4:50 Snack Time

4:50 – 5:25 Activity

5:25 – 6:00 Power Hour

6:00 – 6:30 Free Choice

 

Power Hour

Power Hour is a designated time for our members to complete homework and engage in educational activities. Acceptable Power Hour activities include: working on homework, reading, writing in one’s journal, working on sudoku, completing mazes, working on word searches and crosswords, playing chess, playing mancala, and playing scrabble. We use this time to focus on members’ reading, writing and math skills.

 

Before School Program

Time: 7:00 am – 8:50 am

Grades: K – 5th

Cost: $285/month with your $50 annual membership fee

7:00 – 7:45 Free choice

7:45 – 8:15 Morning Snack

8:15 – 8:50 Activity

 

Scholarships

The Boys & Girls Club maintains a scholarship fund to assist families in need of a reduction in child care fees. Before applying for a scholarship, families must first apply with the Department of Social and Health Services (DSHS) at www.dshs.wa.gov to attempt to qualify for state assistance. A DSHS denial letter must be submitted with any scholarship application. Please reach out to Club staff for further information.

 

Transportation

Transportation is available from McAuliffe Elementary to Rachel Carson Elementary Monday – Friday via bus. Transportation is available from Rachel Carson Elementary to the Sammamish Boys and Girls Club via club van. Please reach out to the Sammamish Club for more details.
