Boys & Girls Clubs of King County is pleased to announce that two of our Operations Directors, Kendrick Davis and Caitlin Relyea, have been promoted to serve as Area Directors for the organization. Area Directors manage the programming, growth, and community engagement for multiple Boys & Girls Clubs. Caitlin supports the Ballard, Salmon Bay, Magnolia, Lawton, Coe Clubs. Kendrick oversees Clubs on the East Side, including Kirkland, Juanita Elementary, Mark Twain, Redmond Elementary, Rosa Parks Clubs.Â
As a student athlete, Caitlin developed a passion for coaching and building teams. After playing college basketball and working as a coach and an athletic administrator, Caitlin started her Boys & Girls Clubs career as the Athletic Director at the Kirkland Club. Caitlin was promoted multiple times, and recognized for skillfully managing and developing staff at her Club.Â
Caitlin also excels at developing and growing community partnerships, a skill that will serve her well in her new Club community. In this new role, Caitlin looks forward to supporting and developing the talented team in the area.Â
Kendrick Davis first joined Boys & Girls Clubs as a shy 4th Grade student at Broadview Thompson
Elementary School. In an effort to bring Kendrick out of his shell, his grandmother signed him up for the North Seattle Boys & Girls Club. The Club quickly became a constant in Kendrick’s life – for fun, for opportunities to volunteer, and for his first job.
After more than 11 years of working in Boy & Girls Clubs throughout the Pacific Northwest, we are excited to announce that Kendrick is one of our new Area Directors. Kendrick works to create the same supportive environment that his mentors created for him.
Congratulations, Caitlin and Kendrick!
