Mercer Island Business Breakfast

Tuesday, November 6, 2018 | 7am

Join us on November 6th at 7am for the Mercer Island Business Breakfast! Celebrate with the Boys & Girls Clubs of King County and the Mercer Island community as we support the important work the Club does to provide a safe and enriching space for kids. This year, we have the privilege to welcome Tod Leiweke as our keynote speaker. We are looking forward to hearing from Tod about the upcoming NHL team expansion to Seattle, his leadership in remodeling Seattle Center Arena into a world class sports venue, as well as his long history as an executive in sports franchises.

Keynote Speaker: Tod Leiweke, CEO and President of Seattle Hockey Partners

Tod Leiweke is the CEO and president of Seattle Hockey Partners, and is responsible for building a world-class hockey operation in anticipation of Seattle being awarded an NHL franchise expansion team. He previously served as Chief Operating Officer of the NFL starting in 2015, and from 2010 to 2015, as CEO of Tampa Bay Sports & Entertainment. He was also the CEO of the Seattle Seahawks, launched the Seattle Sounders FC, and served in leadership roles with the Vancouver Canucks, Minnesota Wild, Golden State Warriors, and the PGA Tour. As CEO of the Seattle Seahawks, Leiweke was active in forming the “Spirit of 12” Partnerships, which benefited a number of nonprofit organizations in the Puget Sound area. In 2009, Leiweke was named CEO of the Year by both the Puget Sound Business Journal and the Seattle Sports Commission.
