Boys & Girls Clubs of King County is distributing back-rent assistance funding to families in our community. We have partnered with the King County Eviction Prevention and Rental Assistance Program and Mary’s Place to support our community.
This program highlights the importance of inter-organizational partnerships in our community to provide effective community support programs. We are thankful to be able to build on our existing relationship with Mary’s Place as we work together to provide eviction prevention funds to our community. Currently, we partner with their team to provide childcare subsidies to families.
Annie Faletogo, the Operations Director at our Tukwila Club collaboratively works to facilitate our interorganizational partnership with Mary’s Place. Annie is leading the initiative and is honored that we were given the opportunity to distribute these funds. While she is excited about this program, she sees this as just the beginning.
“I hope it opens doors to new partnerships with other organizations. As well as strengthen current relationships,” said Annie of all the possibilities.
Our aim is to adapt to the needs of our community as we recover from the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic.
We are grateful our Clubs act as facilitators to King County families. In doing this work, we strive to support families in our community by creating an avenue to access essential funds.
We are excited to stand alongside our community as together, we rise up during this time.
Please note: Due to the high volume of referrals, we are not able to process any new applications at this time. We hope to begin processing new requests for help very soon. Thank you for your patience.
