Kids Auction 2020 FAQsÂ
What will this year’s event look like?Â
This year’s program will be available virtually, free of cost, to anyone with the event link. That means you don’t have to be in the Seattle area, or even Washington, to join the fun. Register today to join the virtual gala and auction!
How is this event important to the organization’s work? Â
At Boys & Girls Clubs of King County, we believe our whole community benefits when all youth can reach their full potential. With generous community support, this annual fundraiser provides quality programs, new opportunities, and powerful mentors to approximately 2,000 kids and teens per day in the greater Seattle area. Additionally, Kids Auction is a critical source of funding for scholarships. This year, your support will allow us to distribute $1.1 million in financial aid to Club families for program, athletic, and summer camp fees.
Will there be meal and beverage options available?Â
Yes! We are partnering with local businesses to offer specially curated meal and beverage kits, so you can take a night off of cooking to join the party! Check out the menus, and order your food and drinks here.
What about the funds you usually raise through ticket sales?Â
While we are offering some paid ticket options that include meals and beverages, it is free to participate in this year’s event. In light of this, our revenue from ticket sales will be significantly lower. If you are able to make a pre-event gift to help meet the pressing needs of Club kids and families today, we would really appreciate it! Click here to make a gift now.
If I can’t participate in the event, how can I make a gift to support it?Â
Thank you! We appreciate your partnership. Give securely online.
