Financial Assistance

Boys & Girls Clubs of King County is committed to providing safe, inclusive, high-quality, and affordable programming for all families. If you need assistance to help pay for your child’s program, please select from the following options below.

Financial Aid for After School & Summer Programs

This option applies to all of our Teen Programs as well as Elementary Programs at the following sites: Federal Way Ron Sandwith Teen Center, Kirkland, North Seattle, Rotary, and Wallingford.

Boys & Girls Club Financial Aid Application Periods

  • School Year Programs: August 15 – September 15
  • Summer Programs: February 1 – March 31
  • If you are experiencing an emergency hardship, you may apply for financial aid at any time.

Once you have completely filled out both documents, upload them in addition to your 2017 Tax Return along with all W-2’s.  You will receive notification whether or not you qualified for financial aid within 10 days.

Financial Assistance for Licensed Childcare Programs

Please apply for financial assistance in this order:

Step 1: Public Support (DCYF, formerly DSHS) via Working Connection Child Care:

 

  • You are responsible for any state-directed co-pays and those fees cannot be waived.
  • If you do not qualify for assistance via Washington Connection, please provide us with your denial letter.
  • If you believe you will not qualify, you must still complete this step and provided us with your denial letter.

Step 2: Public Support via City of Seattle (DEEL) (for residents of Seattle):

 

  • If your income is above the DSHS eligibility levels and the program you would like to register your child for is within the City of Seattle and is set up with a contract via the Child Care Assistance Program, apply for this financial aid.
  • You are responsible for any city-directed co-pays and they cannot be waived.

Step 3: Private Support via Child Care Resources (where available):

 

  • This assistance is available for families living in King County. To see if you qualify, contact them by clicking apply below.

Step 4: Boys & Girls Clubs of King County Financial Aid 

If you do not qualify for any of the above, you may apply for a Boys & Girls Club financial aid. You will be required to submit your denial letters.

Financial Aid for Athletics Programs

This option applies to Boys & Girls Clubs of King County Athletics Programs. We do not offer financial assistance for fees associated with off-site trips or fees paid to third party vendors.
