Watch memorable moments from Lunchbreak 2019!

On March 7, 2019, community members and supporters came together for our annual luncheon fundraiser at the Westin Seattle.

In addition to a beautiful venue and a delicious and healthy meal, the event featured phenomenal speakers who moved the crowd with passionate stories about their connection to the Clubs.

Together, we raised $665,772!

(And this number is growing, thanks to our generous virtual donors!)

We are so grateful to everyone who showed up, made a contribution, and continues to support the important work of providing stability and resources to our future leaders.

We left feeling inspired about the thousands of people – like Dr. Vanessa Hara – whose lives have been positively changed by the care and guidance they received at the Clubs.

Our Speakers

Alisha Valavanis talked about learning the value of inclusion and kindness in leadership at the Club, lessons that she’s taken with her to lead the Seattle Storm and Force 10 Sports Management.

Vanessa Hara talked about Club staff believing in her as a young Club member, listening to her, and pushing her to see herself capable of great things, including being the first in her family to earn a doctorate.
