Welcome Laurie Black!
We, at Boys & Girls Clubs, are thrilled to introduce you to our Interim CEO, Laurie Black. Laurie started with us in late November and since day one, has been out in the community, in our Clubs, and supporting our staff who work with more than 2,000 kids and teens every day. Laurie has been an avid supporter, volunteer, and parent within the organization for many years. Prior to stepping into this role, Laurie spent 40 years working in the for profit and non profit sectors, including being a Rotary Boys & Girls Club Advisory Board Member, holding Executive leadership roles at Nordstrom including GMM/EVP of Nordstrom Merchandising, and President of the Nordstrom Rack. She also serves as a board member and volunteer for many local non profit organizations. |
Her background running diverse businesses, commitment to Boys & GirlsClubs’ mission, and dedication to servant leadership make us proud and confident in a smooth leadership transition. If you’d like to say hello and welcome Laurie, drop her a line. We are busy planning our CEO search and will share an update soon. |
