
After School Program
Members in K-5th grade will love coming to the Club Monday through Friday after school for a fun-filled afternoon! The Club offers a variety of programs designed to increase academic success, build character and citizenship and promote healthy lifestyles. Activities include homework help, board games, art projects, cooking and gym activities! Members enjoy a snack, play games and create friendships that will last a lifetime.
Sample Daily Schedule:
2:40-3:15: Free time in gym, outside or in games room; snack for K-1 and 2-3
b K-1st grade in Power Hour, 2-3rd grade options (active/less-active), 4-5th grade snack
3:45-4:30: 2-3rd grade in Power Hour, K-1st grade, 4th grade, and 5th grade options (active/less-active)
4:30-5:15 : 4th grade in Power Hour, K-1st grade, 2-3rd grade, and 5th grade options (active/less-active)
5:15-6:00: 5th grade in Power Hour, K-1st grade, 2-3rd grade, and 4th grade options (active/less-active)
6:00-7:00: Free time in open spaces

Cost: $200/month with your $50 annual membership fee

What is Power Hour?
Power Hour is a designated time for our members to complete homework, receive help and engage in educational activities in the Brain Lab with our staff. If you would like further information, please contact the Club.
Torch Club
Torch Club is our middle-school leadership group. The focus is engaging kids in our community and bringing awareness of problems at school, in the neighborhood, etc. Members participate in large community events held every other month. They are also involved in a national Torch Club project.
Meeting time: Meetings are held every Monday, 6 PM – 7 PM.
Grades: 6-8
Jr. Staff Program
Explore a career in youth development or human services. Members participate in career development activities, discover the importance of community service and build customer service skills by completing a Club apprenticeship. You will go through training and be paired with a North Seattle Boys & Girls Club professional who trains you on the ins and outs of the youth development field. This is a great way to build your resume and acquire needed volunteer hours for graduation!
Expectations: Jr. Staff are required to volunteer for at least two hours a week for a minimum three months.
Grades: 8-12

Keystone
Keystone is a high school leadership group that focuses on developing your leadership skills in the club, community and in school. Members elect their own officers, choose their activities, plan and implement community service projects and participate in regional and national Keystone conferences.
Meeting time: Meetings are held every Monday, 6 PM – 7 PM.
Grades: 9-12
Smart Girls
Smart Girls is a program that helps promote healthy lifestyles and a positive self-image for young girls. In Smart Girls they get the help to guide the girls through the emotional and physical changes in a young woman’s life. Meeting consists of topics generated by the members and lead staff of the group.
