Our Amazing Club Professionals

In the most challenging situations, our Boys & Girls Club professionals prove their resilience and commitment to community by continuing to show up in innovative ways to serve those who need us most, however they need us. While there are dozens of remarkable staff members to thank, this is a small sample of outstanding all-stars from each of our regions we’d like to recognize.

Mason Barringer: Youth Development Professional at Ballard

Mason brings fun and creativity to Ballard Club kids every day, while maintaining rules and safety with his group. We are proud to see Mason go from Club kid to Keystone leader to Counselor-In-Training to junior counselor, and now an all-star counselor. Well done, Mason!

Cierra Gaither: Program Director at Smilow Rainier Vista (SRV)

At our Smilow Rainier Vista Club, Cierra stepped up to run a smooth program with frequent and clear communication to her team, Club members, and parents. She ensures that every child feels that they belong and have their needs met. Daily, Cierra focuses on safety, enrollment, staff development, budgets, programming, and overall communication among all staff. Cierra is nothing short of phenomenal.

Naomas Faletogo: Operations Director at Southwest

Naomas goes above and beyond for our Club families. He’s a selfless leader whose priorities include providing a safe place for remote learning, providing families with extra food, and redirecting, training, and mentoring youth and staff. He connects with social workers, teachers, and school administration to advocate for the rights of a basic education for all youth. Naomas’s can-do attitude and commitment to do whatever it takes lifts up everyone at the Club.

Jala Harper: Education Director at View Ridge

Jala’s consistent positive attitude spreads throughout the View Ridge Club. She has the ability to make every Club kid, staff member, and parent feel so incredibly welcome. Jala frequently finds ways to improve the Club and make remote learning run smoothly. We adore and appreciate Jala so much!

Ricole Jones: Targeted Program Director at SE Network

Ricole’s leadership and resilience are unmatched. She shows flexibility in adjusting programming and protocols quickly and frequently — when our hours of operation were changing, when our Club attendance was fluctuating, when safety protocols were so important to figure out and get right. By asking for feedback from youth and families, and using that to inform how we run programs, Ricole always puts the youth needs first. We are so fortunate to have her on our team!

Juanita Palaki: Program Director at Kirkland

Juanita sets an example at the Club with a positive attitude and commitment to teamwork. She steps up when needed and steps aside when needed to let her staff lead. It’s people like her that make it so exciting to watch our next level of leadership grow into their roles in this organization. Thank you, Juanita!

A big THANK YOU to all of our staff members who show up every day to do whatever it takes for youth in our community!
