Recreational Sport Options
Baseball
Baseball is a great place for a beginner to intermediate campers to learn the game of baseball and practice their skills with friends and teammates! Our experienced collegiate baseball coaching staff leads players through fun games, drills, and situational plays. If your child has an interest or love of baseball, then this camp is right for you! Baseball Camp is for youth ages 8-12 (entering grades 3rd-6th). Check the notes for specifics about the focus of this week.

Basketball
Our youth basketball leagues are designed for beginner to intermediate players looking to learn a new sport or grow their skills in a fun, novice league. Each league provides appropriate playing conditions based on player ages from hoop height, basketball size, length of games, and other rules. Each player registers individually and will be placed on a team. Players can submit requests to play with friends when possible.
Programs are offered at Ballard, Federal Way, Kirkland, Mercer Island, Rainier Vista, Rotary, Sammamish, and Southwest (White Center).
NFL Flag Football
Down…set….hike! Our 5-on-5 non-contact flag football league is designed for boys and girls between grades 1 and 6. Games are played on Saturdays at the Kirkland, Redmond, Mercer Island, or Bellevue Boys & Girls Clubs. Practices are held once or twice a week at local schools. The season is eight weeks long, with six weeks of games. Each child receives a team jersey. Flag football begins the second week of school and concludes in early November.

Mercer Island Little League
Mercer Island Little League offers instructional and competitive baseball, softball, and tee-ball programs for youth ages 4-16 on Mercer Island, WA.
Program are offered at Mercer Island.
Football (Tackle)
Teams are assigned based on a weight and age point system. The season runs from late August into November. Practices will begin in August. Practices will be M-F through September, and will then go to 3 times a week. Issued equipment will require a $250 deposit. You will be asked to store your CC on your account that will be used for your deposit. Football is a significant commitment. Please understand the commitment before registering.

Soccer
Our youth soccer leagues are co-ed and designed for beginner to intermediate players looking to learn a new sport or grow skills in a fun, supportive atmosphere. Each league provides appropriate playing conditions based on age. Our main goal is to provide our young athletes with a platform to gain valuable social skills and new friends!
Programs are offered at Ballard, Federal Way, Mercer Island, Rainier Vista, Kirkland, Sammamish, and Rotary.
Softball
We offer programs for ages 6-14. Teams will practice one or two nights a week and play two games a week. As with other levels of little league, players are eligible to compete in end-of-the-season tournaments and All-Stars. Coast softball uses an 11’’ or 12″ softball.

Volleyball
Our Volleyball programs are structured for beginner to intermediate players to learn and grow their skills. Participants will work with experienced coaches to learn the fundamentals of volleyball to translate into games. Each team will play a select number of games during the season while also devoting significant time for practices.
Programs are offered at Ballard, Kirkland, Mercer Island, Rainier Vista, Federal Way (winter only), and Sammamish.
Wrestling
Boys & Girls Club of King County is excited to partner with the Ravens Wrestling club to run a COED Wrestling program. This program offers a perfect opportunity for participants to gain wrestling skills, regardless of skill level or experience. Basic skills and fun workouts for beginners. Advanced wrestling technique for experienced wrestlers. Tournament competition in the Western Washington Kids Wrestling League is optional for those interested!
