Seattle Storm Virtual Basketball Clinic

On Thursday, November 19, 2020, youth across the region participated in a virtual basketball clinic presented by Seattle Storm and Bank of America. Youth from our Wallingford and North Beach Elementary Clubs as well as members of the Seattle Wolfpack girls basketball team had a blast participating in the event.

With brand-new basketballs donated by the Storm, Club members practiced dribbling, ball handling, and footwork drills that challenged their skills to take their game to the next level.

The kids also had a chance to ask their burning questions and learned all about the dedication and perseverance required to become a champion.

One Club member asked: “If I grow up to become an architect, can I still play basketball?” To which Coach Ryan responded, “If you design the gym, I’ll come play you there.” This is what we’re all about at the Clubs, and we hope every child is inspired to pursue all of their dreams and live a healthy and active life.

Thank you so much to the Storm coaches – Erin and Ryan, for creating an opportunity for kids to learn, laugh, and grow.
