Women’s History Month at the Clubs
Kirkland teen Torch Club members created a fun matching game for younger Club youth to learn about Women’s History Month! Our Kirkland Club was just one of many Clubs that put on activities that taught youth about female leaders. The Wallingford Club created a Women’s History fact, highlighting important female figures to teach our youth more about women such as Rachel Carson and Flo-Jo (Florence Griffith-Joyner). Not only did youth participate in Women’s History Month, but so did our staff; a staff member designed a Women’s History Month t-shirt for all staff across the county.
