Meet our 2018 Amazon Interns and Interns of the Month, Lynda and Raquel!
Amazon Interns Lynda and Raquel were asked to extend their program not once, not twice, but three times this year! What was originally a month-long internship turned into a 5-month-long position spanning the greater part of their senior year.
This spring, we had the opportunity to interview them about their experience, as well as pay them a visit at their office in South Lake Union. For an inside look on a day at Amazon, check out the video below! We promise it involves lots and lots of ping-pong.
Where will they go next?
Lynda is one of two YouthForce Interns that has been accepted into a competitive Microsoft internship program this summer — congratulations Lynda! She will be attending Azusa Pacific University in the fall.
Lynda and Raquel have become close friends over the duration of their internship program but plan to keep in touch next year. Raquel finishes up her internship in August then will head off to University of Washington in the fall.
