From First Job to Dream Job
Boys & Girls Clubs of King County’s unique approach to workforce readiness prepares youth for success in their first jobs and creates a clear pathway to their chosen career goals.
Career Readiness Training
We offer a series of workshops and targeted support to prepare teens for the workforce. Specific assistance includes college and career planning, financial education, workplace etiquette, networking, and community service. Workshops including resume writing, interview skills, and connection events such as job shadows and job tours.
TeamWork Internship
Build job skills alongside peers at Sounders & Seahawks games. Our partnership with First and Goal Inc. offers meaningful entry-level work experiences where teens are supported by adult mentorship, positive peer and professional networks, and on-the-job training.
Career Internship
Teens build job skills, explore career paths, and develop a network for career opportunities. We help teens secure an internship with one of our local employer partners.
