Boys & Girls Clubs of King County’s unique approach to workforce readiness prepares youth for success in their first jobs and creates a clear pathway to their chosen career goals.
We offer a series of workshops and targeted support to prepare teens for the workforce. Specific assistance includes college and career planning, financial education, workplace etiquette, networking, and community service.
Build job skills alongside peers at Sounders & Seahawks games. Our partnership with First and Goal Inc. offers meaningful entry-level work experiences where teens are supported by adult mentorship, positive peer and professional networks, and on-the-job training.
Teens build job skills, explore career paths, and develop a network for career opportunities. We help teens secure an internship with one of our local employer partners.
The Doorways Program provides youth ages 16-21 with paid internship opportunities with various businesses in Seattle. **Applications Due February 25th, 2019**
TeamWork Internship Program Director
The TeamWork Internship Program Director reports to the YF Executive Director. As an ambassador and role model for local teens, this position is responsible for managing and leading the TeamWork Internship Program (TWIP) in its delivery of meaningful entry-level work experience. We are seeking someone to fill this position immediately.

Career Internship Program Manager
This position is responsible for supporting the Program Director of the Career Internship Program (CIPD) in its delivery of a broad range of teen employment and youth development programs. The Program Manager (PM) will be responsible for recruitment, reviewing applicants, interviewing/screening applicants, completing hiring paperwork, facilitating orientations, and overseeing interns with special emphasis on youth development. We are seeking someone to fill this position immediately.
